Hailing from the sunny climate of North Palm Beach, Florida, Brett graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors in Horticultural Science. Having worked on a variety of organic farms, he has gained a passion for gardening with emphasis on ecological principles. At University of Florida, he worked as a research assistant in the Horticulture department looking into crop nutrition, nutrient use efficiency, and vegetable grafting. Throughout his travels, Brett has acquired a love of hiking and developing his own recipes. He hopes to learn as much as he can about hops, crop breeding, distribution systems, and beer with his hopportunity at Select Botanicals Group. He hopes this experience with increase his passion and knowledge of horticulture to make him a bitter person.
