Ashley Hale is the Special Projects Coordinator for Yakima Chief Ranches. Ashley was a former intern for YCR in the summer of 2016 and came back to work for the company in March 2018. Ashley is responsible for brewing with the experimental hops, hop sensory, assisting with the summer intern program and any other special projects. Ashley’s background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology with an option in Fermentation Science from Oregon State University. She is also a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer where she spent two years living in Ukraine teaching English and Literature. Continuing her education, Ashley recently obtained her Master of Science in Agriculture degree with the Food Science and Management Option from Washington State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner Kevin and their blue heeler pup, Dot.
