Noel Hathaway

Research Manager

Although his official title is Research Manager, his specialty is in plant tissue culture. The majority of his research focuses on applying plant tissue culture techniques to understand hop physiology, developing new breeding germplasm, and creating commercial micropropagation SOPs and strategies. At school, he studied agronomy and plant biotechnology for his undergraduate degree, then graduated from school studying plant science. His thesis was on the Micropropagation of Acer glabrum (Rocky Mountain Maple). During warmer seasons, he enjoys running, fishing, gardening, and boating. In the colder seasons, he likes to hunt and read. And regardless of the time of year, he loves spending time with his wife and son.
