Kevin is from El Segundo, California, but has crossed the country to attend University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He will return there next fall for his last semester to finish his degree in Agronomy. His interests in agriculture started his senior year of high school after reading The Edible History of Humanity after that he knew he was about working with plants. His education solidified his interest in plants and has given me the opportunities to work with forage grassed, corn, soybeans, sorghum, livestock, and now hops. With this internship, he hopes to learn as much as he can about all aspects of the hop production. His focus is to learn about fertilizer use, soil health, pest management as well as the brewing science because he has a love affair with beer.
